[K-Exclusive]: AB6IX Kicks Off [The Future] Headlining Tour in Chicago

Chicago’s Patio Theater was ablaze with excitement as AB6IX started off their [The Future] tour. The tour’s namesake symbolizes a journey for AB6IX and their fans, ABNEW, walking together into the future.

The night began with a powerful setlist of songs including “Resonance” and “Loser,” two track that carried a strong dance influence. Fans were also treated to a surprise rendition of “Weightless,” which marked its first live performance. The super catchy and upbeat tunes of “The Answer” and “Sugarcoat” had the room grooving along from start to finish, even synchronizing with the choreography. Their track “Complicated” also allowed the audience to enjoy the song unfiltered, thanks to the English lyrics.

Aside from the upbeat dance tracks previously mentioned, the mood was softened with touching ballad tracks like “Nothing Without You” and “A Long Winter,” further deepening the emotional connection with their fans and showing a more vulnerable side of AB6IX.

When it came time for the encore, although it meant the show was almost over, the atmosphere was still reminiscent of that of the beginning. AB6IX returned to the stage with “Red Up” and “Be There,” and the night concluded with “1, 2, 3,” which played on a loop until the members had to officially leave the stage for the evening. Starting the tour off strong, this unforgettable night in Chicago was just the beginning of their journey into the future, which promises more incredible moments and memories for both the group and their dedicated ABNEW.
